We spent five relaxing days in and around Las Vegas over the Thanksgiving holidays, exploring some of the glitzy highlights of the city, as well as two areas known for their natural beauty: Valley of Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon.
At the Paris Hotel we rode to the top of the Eiffel Tower, had dinner at Le Village, then enjoyed the Bellagio water show.
On Thanksgiving morning we had a yummy breakfast at the Cracker Barrel and in the evening we had dinner at the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at MGM Grand. After dinner we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing Jabbawockeez show.
A must-do was a photo stop in front of the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.
The tragic massacre in Las Vegas had only occurred the month before, another reason we'd chosen to visit at this time, to support this resilient city. Everywhere we went we saw signs of the city's spirit and strength. #LasVegasStrong!
